WiFi Bridge – Starlink Barossa Valley

Today we value added to a customers Starlink installation by sending the internet connection to another building on the property that is used for a bed and breakfast.

These days, a WiFi connection is a must in accommodations and guests seem to love it when the connection is fast and reliable.

Starlink offers the fastest connection in terms of internet speed in regional areas and combining this with access to WiFi around the property only broadens the appeal.

No cabling had to be trenched from building to building as this can be done wirelessly using the Ubiquiti WiFi bridging Product Range.

After successfully installing the WiFi bridge, we set up an access point in the guest house to provide WiFi to people staying with its own password separate from the main Starlink router.

To test the signal, we plugged the bridge into the Starlink aux port and fired up a speed test to see the difference in download speeds between the two buildings across the WiFi bridge.

As a result, less than 1Mbps were lost over the bridge with a reading from the access point of over 80Mbps.
