Monitoring Your Starlink Connection Performance: Tips and Tools
To monitor your Starlink’s performance, you can access various statistics related to speed, uptime, latency, outages, and alerts. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Ensure that your Starlink is connected to the Starlink WiFi Router
2. There are two ways to review your Starlink statistics:
a. The Starlink mobile App offers the best experience for accessing these stats.
b. Alternatively, you can use any web browser and type either “192.168.100.1” or “dishy.starlink.com” into the address bar to access the web interface.
3. If you are using a third-party router instead of the Starlink WiFi Router, some configuration changes may be necessary to access the Starlink App and web interface.
a. You will need to set up a static route to “192.168.100.1” with the next hop of your router’s WAN (Wide Area Network) interface.
b. Please be aware that providing specific instructions for each third-party router is not possible, as it may vary depending on the router’s make and model.
c. Some third-party routers may automatically work if they support DHCP option 121.
By following these steps, you can easily monitor and track the performance of your Starlink connection to ensure it is running optimally.
