Opting In for Additional Data: A Step-by-Step Guide
To opt in for additional data on your Priority or Mobile Priority service plans, follow these steps:
1. On Starlink.com:
– Go to the “Manage” section under “Your Starlinks.”
– Look for the “Priority” or “Mobile Priority” toggle.
– Click the toggle to opt in.
2. On the Starlink App:
– Navigate to “Data Usage.”
– Find the “Priority” or “Mobile Priority” toggle.
– Tap the toggle to opt in.
Once you opt in, you will automatically receive extra Priority or Mobile Priority data when you use up your regular data allowance in a given month. You will be billed for the additional data used above your plan’s allotment until you opt-out, and this will continue in the following billing cycles. The cost for the additional data will be based on the per GB usage rate.
You can monitor your monthly data usage through your Starlink account. The purchased additional data will be shown and charged on your next monthly invoice. Please note that the billed amount might be lower than what’s displayed in your Data Tracker because certain backend Starlink operations (e.g., software updates) have data usage that is subtracted.
If your service is currently paused, you must activate the service to access the opt-in toggle.
