Starlink Install in Angle Vale

Today’s installation of the Starlink kit for this customer took place in Angle Vale.

The Starlink installation was pretty straight-forward, but did require a bit more time in choosing the optimal location due to a few big trees that could have been an obstruction problem.

However, on the furthest side of the building there was clear line of sight to the southern skies and hence installed the Starlink dish in this location.

The building was an older style with thick stone walls, which meant that the WiFi signal was not traveling well to other parts of the house. Since the house was quite large many areas could not gain access to the network using the supplied Starlink router.

The customer already had a mesh network in the form of a Netcomm nest with its own router. We bypassed the Starlink router and went directly into the Netcomm router and with that, the whole house had access to the WiFi network.
